WAYS TO LIVE THE DAY

Three Experiences.
One imaginative day.

Every family needs a different rhythm. Choose a morning, school-day, or full-day Experience — or join us for the afternoon alone. Each one grounded in belonging, play, and The Imagination Effect.

The shape of a day

The day keeps opening.

Nothing here is filler. Every stretch of the day has its own work to do — and the further into it a child stays, the more of that work they get to live.

8:00 – 12:00

Discovery

  • Arrival. Coats, hugs, a slow start — time to land before anything is asked.
  • Get Together. The group finds itself: names, weather, plans, and whose turn it is.
  • Workshop rotation. Small groups rotate through the Workshops, following the questions and materials prepared for that day.
  • Tidy-up. Putting the room back is part of the work, not the end of it.
12:00 – 3:00

Imagination

  • Lunch. Fresh from Nutrispa, at the table, with conversation as the main course.
  • Wind-down. Lights dim, music softens, and the room slows down so children's bodies and minds can prepare for rest.
  • Rest. Every Playroom rests. We provide the beds; the bedding comes from home.
  • Afternoon snack. Children wake gently, reconnect, and refuel before the final experience of the school day.
  • Special activity. The day's ideas come back together through a shared invitation to revisit, represent, and consolidate what children discovered. This is not simply one more activity; it gives the day a meaningful close.
3:00 – 5:30

Wonder & Beyond

  • Transition. Imagination children reunite with their families while Wonder children reset, reconnect, and prepare for the afternoon.
  • Wonder. Rotating extracurriculars open new interests through sports, dance, visual arts, and music.
  • Beyond snack. Children pause for another snack before entering the final part of the day.
  • Beyond. Extended playground time, guided play, caring for the shared space, and a calm transition home.

SUMMER ADVENTURE

A different adventure, every week.

FRESH DAILY · BALANCED · THOUGHTFULLY SERVED

Fresh meals are part of the experience.

Nutrispa prepares and delivers fresh meals daily — fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins, following USDA guidelines. Lunch is included for Travelers in the Discovery Experience; lunch and an afternoon snack are included in the Imagination and Wonder Experiences. Children staying for the Beyond block receive an additional snack after 4:30. Prefer to send food from home? Always welcome; we supervise with allergies in mind and keep the school peanut-aware.

Every day, on your phone

You'll know how the day went before you reach the car.

Brightwheel is our official channel with families — the same app thousands of preschools use, so many parents already know it. Everything below happens there, in one place, from the moment your child is checked in.

Brightwheel Learn more about Brightwheel

Brightwheel and the Brightwheel logo are trademarks of DSSV, Inc. The Imagination Factory is an independent Brightwheel customer.

Photos and video, as it happens

Selected moments from the day, sent straight to your phone — your child mid-experiment, mid-argument, mid-triumph. Not a monthly newsletter. Today.

The daily record

Meals and how much was eaten, nap length, bathroom or diaper changes, mood, and what your child spent the morning working on — logged as it happens, not remembered at pickup.

Message us directly

Write to your child's facilitator or the front desk from inside the app. No phone tag, no note in a backpack, and a written record both of us can look back on.

Secure check-in and pickup

Contactless check-in with a secure code or signature, and a record of exactly who dropped off and who collected — so the question of who may take your child home is never a conversation at the door.

Tuition and invoices

View invoices, set up autopay, split charges between guardians, and keep every receipt in one place. Billing lives where the rest of school life already does.

Calendar, forms and alerts

Events and sign-ups, enrollment forms and documents with digital signatures, reminders before they matter, and urgent notices by push and text if we ever need to reach everyone at once.

Access is set up during onboarding, before your child's first morning.

Quick answers

Choosing the rhythm that fits your family.

How much does each Experience cost?

Tuition varies by your child's Playroom and Experience. Request information for the current 2026–2027 rates and availability, or bring the question to your tour and we will walk through every option with you.

Do all morning Experiences include the five Workshops?

Yes. Discovery, Imagination, and Wonder all include participation in all five Workshops as part of the educational program. Children rotate through the Workshops across their Experience; they do not necessarily complete all five in a single morning. The longer Experiences add lunch, rest, a special activity, extracurriculars, or additional afternoon time.

How do I choose between Discovery, Imagination, and Wonder?

Start with the time your family needs, then consider what you want your child's day to include. Discovery carries the educational morning to noon. Imagination adds lunch, wind-down, rest, a snack, and the special activity that gathers the day's ideas. Wonder continues through rotating sports, dance, visual arts, and music until 4:30.

Is lunch included in every Experience?

Lunch is included for Travelers in Discovery; lunch and an afternoon snack are included in Imagination and Wonder. Children staying for Beyond receive an additional snack after 4:30. Nutrispa prepares the meals fresh, and families may always send food from home instead.

What makes the 12:00–3:00 block valuable?

Children share lunch, wind down with dim lights and soft music, rest, wake for a snack, and return for a special activity. That final experience brings the day's ideas back together so children can revisit, represent, and consolidate what the day opened.

Can we enroll only in the afternoon?

Yes. Beyond runs 3:30–5:30 as a standalone afternoon Experience for children not enrolled in another TIF Experience, with rotating sports, dance, visual arts, music, another snack, playground time, and guided play, subject to current availability.

What if our schedule changes during the year?

Talk with us. A move to another Experience depends on space in your child's Playroom, but we will explain the available options and help you find the best workable rhythm.

What if we are running late at pickup?

Message us through Brightwheel as soon as you know. The school closes at 5:30 and late pickup carries an additional fee. If you regularly need more time, ask whether a longer Experience or the Beyond add-on is available.

Do children use screens?

Children do not handle or use phones, tablets, or other personal devices. Facilitators may occasionally use brief audiovisual resources to support a specific activity, always intentionally and sparingly. We want children present and engaged with materials, movement, relationships, and play.
